Bie Zhaohong, female, of the Han ethnic group, was born in October 1970. She holds a doctoral degree and is a professor.

She is in charge of scientific and technological research, human resources, discipline planning and construction, State-owned assets management, laboratory building, procurement and biding, confidentiality and academic journals.

She has successively served as deputy dean, Party chief and dean of the XJTU School of Electrical Engineering, and head of the XJTU Office of Discipline Affairs. She was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee in May 2019, vice-president of XJTU in December 2021, and executive vice-president of XJTU in July 2023.
