Notice on 2023 Summer Social Practice

To All International Students,

In order to help international students have a deeper understanding of the real China and experience China personally, combine the knowledge gained from theoretical learning with their own practice, all international students are encouraged to tell China's stories well, spread China's voice well, and present a credible, lovely and respectable image of China. The school organized 2023 summer social practice activities.

I. Theme of the event

Deepen national education, increase skills and abilities, and act as dedication in the unity of knowledge and action and learning for practice

II. Contents of the event

1. Development Achievement Observation Practice.

Taking the land of China as a classroom, learn about China's national conditions, social conditions and people's conditions through national investigation, social observation, research, learning experience and volunteer service. Conduct more extensive and in-depth research on social hotspots and difficulties, explore from multiple perspectives, and form specialized survey reports, papers, etc.

2. Historical and Cultural Research Practice.

Learn from the great achievements of the Chinese people's centennial struggle, experience the charm and essence of Chinese traditional culture, and carry out various practice activities about Chinese history and culture relying on local red and cultural resources.

3. Rural Revitalization Practice.

Observe typical rural areas and development achievements in China's poverty alleviation campaign and rural revitalization strategy practice. Through internet platforms, carry out online public welfare education activities and promote regional characteristics and rural culture.

4. The Community with a Shared Future for Mankind Practice.

It’s been 10 years since the concept of Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind was introduced by President Xi. China's development benefits the world, and China's development cannot be achieved without the world. Civilization exchange and mutual learning are important driving forces for promoting the progress of human civilization and world peace and development. Deeply understand how China promotes communication and dialogue among different civilizations, and jointly build a world civilization garden of beauty and harmony.

III. Requirements of the event

1. Each team shall have three to six members, including a team leader.

2. A social practice report is needed, both pictures and texts are required.

3. During practice, please enhance your safety awareness. Be aware of traffic, personal, property and communication safety.

4. Social practice is an important part of the second classroom of China's national conditions education, which intakes 8 credits for undergraduates and 2 credits for postgraduates.

Ⅳ. Arrangements for the event

Practice period: July 24^thto September 3^rd, and the summary and evaluation will be conducted in September. Please scan the QR code below and fill the registration form to register. The deadline for registration is 3 PM on July 13^th.
