Fluid transport phenomena (momentum, heat and mass transfer) can be observed in various industrial
processes, such as the boiling and condensation of various fluids, flow of gas-particle mixture, solute dispersion in
porous materials. Transport phenomena in microscale channels or surfaces with microscale structures has important
influence on many largescale problems. This group work on projects in the area of complex fluid transport
phenomena, especially the microscale fluid transport. Detailed interests including: Understanding the complex fluid
transport phenomena in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering fields by mathematical, numerical simulation
and experiment; Design homemade software for various equipements, such as LNG vaporizer, microchannel
condenser; Optimization the design of many equipements, such as cyclone, heat exchangers.
