主要研究方向包括:1)神经分泌与突触传递的调控机制,2)帕金森病等神经退行性疾病的病理机制与转化研究,3)多巴胺分泌、行为调控与多巴胺系统疾病(精神分裂症、成瘾、痛等)的环路机制。实验室拥有电生理(膜片钳记录、sniffer patchUV-flash、钙成像)、电化学(微碳纤电极细胞/脑片/in vivo水平的实时记录、微透析-HPLC分析)、生物成像(confocalTIRFtwo photon、电镜等)、光遗传、行为学及分子生化等特色技术手段,在囊泡分泌、内吞及循环的分子调控机制和帕金森病等相关神经疾病的发病机理等方面取得一系列突破性研究进展。在国际权威学术期刊发表研究(SCI)论文45篇,累计影响因子~396;其中以第一/通讯作者Nat Neurosci, Neuron, Nat Commun (3), PNAS (2), J Cell Biol (2), EMBO Rep (2), Sci Signal等期刊发表高水平论文22篇(累计IF: 193; 1TOP期刊14篇),申请/授权中国/国际发明专利12研究成果得到Nature, Science, Nat Rev Neurosci, J Cell Biol, Mov Disord, F1000 Prime等亮点评述和特别推荐同时,受邀担任国内神经领域经典教科书《神经科学》第四版中《神经递质的分泌与调控》和《多巴胺》两个章节的主编人、承担《中国大百科全书》第三版中《胞吐》、《胞吞》和《胞饮》三个条目的撰写、担任国家十三五规划图书《人体线粒体功能障碍与重大疾病》(获国家出版基金陕西省出版基金)第五卷《线粒体与神经退行性疾病》主编。
