Axio Scope A1 is a flexible, high-performance modular microscope platform specially designed for routine applications in materials microscopy by Carl Zeiss. The high-quality EC Epiplan line of objectives will meet the demands of users faced with specific tasks in materials research. Its IC2S optics offers highest contrast in all techniques, brilliant brightfield and darkfield for numerous applications. Its new N-Achroplan objectives provide excellent flatness of field and high contrast for the entire 23mm field of view. It can be used to observe microstructures of opaque objects such as metals, minerals, integrated circuits, particles, films, fibers, grain, and other surface structure.
