About Institute of Precision Engineering

The Institute was established in 1996，supporting one first-level discipline: Mechanical Engineering. It is a scientific research team with more than 35 teachers, led by Professor Zhuangde JIANG, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and some well-known professors.

Research:

• High temperature resistance, high dynamic, high precision MEMS piezoresistive special pressure sensor/accelerometer/flexible sensor;

• New MEMS pyrotechnics and actuators;

• Semiconductor metrology & inspection and machine vision technology;

• Intelligent measurement for precision/ultra-precision manufacturing;

• Precision Ultra-precision Inspection Technology and Instrumentation;

• Precision Ultra-precision Machining Technology and Equipment;

• Extreme Environment Sensing and Testing Technology.
