XJTU Vice-President and member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Jiaotong University Committee

Shan Zhiwei, male, of the Han ethnic group, was born in February 1974. He holds a doctoral degree and is a professor. He is a member of the Communist Party of China.

He has successively served as vice-dean, dean and deputy Party secretary of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU)'s School of Materials Science and Engineering. He was appointed as assistant to the XJTU president in November 2022.

In January 2024, he was appointed as a member of the CPC XJTU Standing Committee and vice-president of XJTU.
